Using the latest Generative Artificial Intelligence models this exhibition component creates dynamic real time imagery. By re-arranging simple 3D printed components the audience participates in the creation of historic imagery.
A digital camera pointed at the tabletop area feeds images into a Stable Diffusion model running on a high performance workstation. The workstation outputs a real time stream of AI generated images projected as a supergraphic onto the exhibition walls.
Generative AI can guide the creation of novel imagery through both textual prompts and imagery. The model used in the exhibition uses a number of distinct and specific prompts describing a Roman village scene. The output from the digital camera translates the 3D printed objects into a visual guide that helps shape the form of the images output from the AI model.
